SMALL GROUP FREEDOM
OzXposure is owned by TrekAmerica and is one of the leading companies when it comes to small group size travel. Our small group sizes really let you get off the beaten path and escape the crowds. With no more than 14 people on the majority of our tours and a maximum of 25 on some of our more remote Western Australian adventures, you'll enjoy all the flexibility of travelling with a small group of adventurous, like minded individuals. With our flexible nightstops we can alter our itinerary to take in more of what you want to see. Only possible with a small group of adventurous people from all over the world.
Whether you're travelling to Australia or New Zealand, we offer you more inclusions in the price, smaller group sizes and more flexible itineraries. You'll get great value for money and the freedom to go where the big buses can't go. It's our business to know exactly where to go and what to do, to give you the most memorable holiday of your life.
OzXposure tours are designed for adults (18+). However, due to the nature of these tours, they tend to incorporate activities
and nightlife that appeal to the young and young
at heart. And don't worry about coming by yourself, you'll quickly make friends with other people who are as keen to see and experience Australia and New Zealand as you are. Please note on our 12 day Territory in Depth tour you may be travelling with families and children aged 8+.

NEVER CAMPED BEFORE
Never Camped Before?...No worries. We supply everything needed for an easy camping holiday. We use large 4 man tents on most of our tours with only 2 people to a tent so there's loads of room. On some of our more remote tours we stay in permanent camps with comfortable hard top tents or in traditional Aussie Swags for a true outdoors experience.
We supply eskys (coolers), gas lights, stoves, tables and chairs, even plates, knives, forks and all other camp accessories.
You will need to bring your own sleeping bag if your tour includes camping nights.
We recommend a ´three season` bag during the summer months and a 'four season' bag the rest of the year, as some nights can be cool to cold, especially in mountainous areas. We supply a thermal pad to sleep on, but if you prefer added comfort, you are encouraged to bring your own self-inflating sleeping pad. If required, a good quality 3-4 season sleeping bag can be purchased for AUD$70 from your tour leader if you are departing from Sydney.
On our camping treks, some nights on the itinerary are normally spent in hotel, cabin or bunkhouse accommodation. They are included in your trek price. No other adventure company gives you as many accommodated nights in the price of the tours.

PARTICIPATION ON TOUR
The main ingredient in any great holiday is team spirit and a willingness to help with the day to day running of the tour. From loading to unloading equipment, preparing meals and doing dishes, everyone participates.You will be assigned certain tasks on a rotating roster, a perfect opportunity to break the ice and share in the experience with your fellow trekkers, with lots of individual input, fun and flexibility.

MORE TWO AND THREE NIGHT STOPS
On many of our tours we incorporate two and three night stops to allow you to take full advantage of all your numerous options available wherever you may be, letting you make optimum use of your holiday time. We know from experience that it is imprtant to pace a tour, to guarantee that you see and do more, without having to run madly from one stop to the next.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES
On most of our tours we include many of the main activities in your trek price, more inclusions than any other adventure company in Australia. (See "What's included" box on the individual tour pages). We also give you the freedom to choose additional activities and approximate costs are also shown to help you plan your holiday budget.Take advantage of the best group discounts we have negotiated for you. We recommend a minimum of AUD/NZD $60-$70 spending money a day which should cover restaurant meals, souvenirs, nights out, some of the
optional activities and your food kitty. Everybody has different tastes; some spend a lot more, others spend a lot less than this suggested amount so please use it as a guide only.
Visa and Mastercard are accepted in most places and you can get cash from automatic teller (cash point) machines. Travellers cheques can be hard to change and most banks charge a fee. If you do bring travellers cheques only bring AUD or NZ dollars as foreign exchange facilities are sometimes limited.

TOUR LEADERS
Tour leaders are a special breed! They have contributed more to our success than any other part of our programme. The tour leader and the group work as a team and are jointly responsible for arranging everything en route - to suit the group and the individual. We provide the right kind of person to handle the multitude of needs that arise throughout any tour. We are very critical in our choice of people; we employ men and women from many professional backgrounds, who lead active lifestyles themselves.
