Tour Description
Start your journey with an included full-day sailing
cruise to the Outer Barrier Reef. Try scuba diving, (no
experience needed), hand feed the fish or snorkel among
the vibrant coral in the warm tropical waters. A day you
will remember for the rest of your life.
Spend a night camping on a
palm tree lined tropical beach as the waves lull you to
sleep. Relax at Yungaburra with its 1920's charm,
curtain fig trees and a canoeing trip on the lake. Come
and meet Russell and his unique reptile show. Hold a python
and see some of the worlds deadliest snakes.
See how big the bush
really is over the next few days as we head through towns
like Oasis, Charters Towers and Emerald. Plenty of remote
and breathtaking hiking awaits you at Carnarvon Gorge National
Park. There is time for an underground opal mine tour at
Lightning Ridge, home of the Black Opal before
soaking in the thermal hot springs.
Today we head south to the
ancient volcanic site of Warrumbungle National Park. We
will hike to the Breadknife and interact with the friendly
kangaroos. Tonight maybe visit an observatory for a unique
look at the heavens. We will spend time exploring one of
the worlds most successful endangered wildlife breeding
zoos. Learn about Black & White Rhinoceros, Oryx, Tigers,
Przewalski Horses, Gibbons and Hippopotamus. Not to mention
your Australian favourites like koalas, kangaroos,
wallabies and an abundance of native water fowl.
We head east head east via
the Blue Mountains and the famous Three Sisters. Come and
hike down the Giant Staircase to the bottom of the Jamison
Valley and catch the "World's steepest
railway" back to the top, before arriving in Sydney.
