Experience the spectacular natural highlights of the Red Centre at the very heart of Australia. Visit an outback camel farm, explore Kata Tjuta (The Olgas), hike the trails at Kings Canyon and marvel at the breathtaking beauty of Uluru (Ayers Rock).

Our routes have been carefully chosen to include the best night stops and highlights. However, as road conditions, weather, local restrictions and group input may vary, no two trips will ever be the same. With the help of your tour leader and fellow trekkers you may modify certain nightstops and highlights to give a truly unique experience!

Alice Springs, Kata Tjuta & Ayers Rock
We'll visit an Outback Camel Farm before travelling through the remote outback of the Red Centre. After lunch, we set out to explore the wonders of Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) on a guided interpretive walk through the Valley of the Winds returning in time to view the desert sunset over Uluru (Ayers Rock). After dinner, curl up under the millions of stars in an authentic Aussie bedroll (swag) at our permanent campsite.

Ayers Rock & Kings Canyon
An early start is required to view the magical Uluru sunrise. Absorb the early morning wonder on a walk around the base of Uluru (Ayers Rock). Enjoy a guided walk exploring
mysterious rock formations and Aboriginal art sites followed by a visit to the Cultural Centre. After lunch we depart for Kings Canyon, where we enjoy a delicious camp oven dinner.
At Kings Canyon, we'll view the impressive formations of the 'Amphitheatre', 'Lost City', the picturesque 'Garden of Eden' and the breathtaking North and South Walls. We travel along the famous Mereenie Loop Track, sighting Gosse Bluff (a meteorite crater believed to be over 130 million years old) and the home of renowned Aboriginal artist Albert Namitjira as we travel towards Glen Helen.

Glen Helen
We explore picturesque Ormiston Gorge before engaging '4WD' as we travel along the ancient track of the Finke River into Palm Valley. We spend most of the day exploring this area which is home to one of the rarest trees in the world, the tropical palm Livistonia Mariae.

Alice Springs
Enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Western MacDonnell Ranges as we journey back to Alice Springs.

Tours ends 17:00 - 18:00 in Alice Springs on day 4.
Please note: This tour is operated by a partner company with expertise in these remote regions of Australia where special equipment and 4WD vehicles are required. OzXposure passengers will be joining other travellers on these departures. Itineraries may vary and attractions substituted due to seasonal and extreme weather conditions, traditional owner and national park requirements. You may travel with families and children (aged 8+) on this tour.
