I have recently returned from a year of traveling, and as part of that travel, I joined 3 treks through TrekAmerica; Atlantic Dream (October 05), Yucatan Adventure (November 05) and Reef 'n' Rock (February 06, via their partner: OzXposure/Lets Trek Australia).
I had the most amazing time on all the treks, which were very different; one camping, one in hotels, one in hostels. The countries and landscapes and activities were all very different. I had a time that nobody can take away from me, and so many fun, happy, exciting memories.
My trek groups were very different on each trip, but I loved getting to know everyone and have made some great friends. I was always so sad to say goodbye at the end of each trek!
I recommend these kind of treks to anyone. What a brilliant way to travel the world, try new things and make new friends! Thinking of hitting Alaska this summer if I can!!
