My name is Tori Oram and I was on the Big Trek that departed Sydney on April 18th this year. It was absolutely amazing and I had the time of my life! We were led by the wonderful Gerard (Gerry) and there were seven in my group. Straight away, everyone felt like a friend! I would truly recommend this trip to anyone!
I saw so much of Australia and loved every minute. I skydived at Airlie Beach, stroked a koala, stayed with the Aborigines, saw Kangeroos, rode a quadbike across the outback, ate "bush tucker", feasted on the most bizarre foods (kangeroo, camel, crocodile, emu....), lay awake one night listening to the chilling call of wild dingos (incredible sound!) and hiked the base of Uluru! Oh and saw wild dolphins. And the Opera House. And then there was the amazing Barrier Reef..... As you can tell, I loved it and if anyone would like any advice just send me an e-mail, I'd love to hear from you.
